detox today vid from greenpeace.
I've not blogged for a while but with the new Academic Year upon us I need to get this blog moving again. I think I was getting too bogged down with simply blogging course related and ad related stuff. Broader remit from now on to echo the breadth of the ABM daily. So more stuff that I'm interested in and will provide a wider cultural base to this blog. First off, a vid from Greenpeace about the crap that goes in our oceans. It's similar in message to the Surfers against sewage vids etc but possibly more global in reach. And it's linked to the Greenpeace campaign enlisting high profile brands in a pledge to stop dumping crap in the oceans and rivers and demanding a rethink in terms of production practices. Ethics, that's what this post is about.

IP in Antwerp 2011
Not posted on here for a while. So I'll let you look at the wonderful video John Hudson has made of our IP (Intensive Project) hosted by Plantijn Hogeschool in Antwerp this year. Sit back and enjoy.

Storify beta tests curatorial platform
I have been given beta testing access to storify. Storify is a curatorial tool that lends users autonomy in the curation of stories based on themes gathered from around a variety of social media and other online platforms. Publishing a story can also be shared across various platforms thereby extending reach substantially. This is the test story I have created in under 3 minutes using Social Media as search term on Twitter, FaceBook and Google.
