Catching Up.

Quite a lot to catch up on. Degree Show and assessments have made this quite a hectic few weeks and now we're having a mini-breather before D&AD New Blood.

Degree Show went well with very good feedback from visitors. Last year's lot turned up which was nice. Several projects did well and received positive attention. The Sofa Design project is ongoing, Green Man, by all accounts, is taking off. Constellation (Jamie and Sian), came second against stiff competition nationwide. Abbey reached the final rounds of the IPA student competition - waiting to see how she got on.

Dan, Adam and Shib have been asked to do some University Quarter branding ... or at least that's the plan. Sam's now working client-side for Truma in Uttoxeter .... all good stuff.

Onwards and upwards for New Blood. 9 projects are at the printers. The plan is to have an A0 concept board per brief, demonstrating our strategic approach. Brand books and portfolios will be accessible in the space and we'll also have a couple of iMacs running online portfolios.

pdate just before we go to London, and I'll try and update daily whilst we're there.

Olympia National Hall, Stands 1-5, June 29th/30th and July 1st 2009.

Pre-Degree Show news and stuff

Everything's nearly there for the Degree Show. I'll be sorting out portfolios and websites tomorrow. I'll link the websites from here as well. In the meantime, a quick update. Sian Wood and Jamie Charman came second in the Constellation Innovator of the Year Awards. Well done. And Dan Needham, Shib Hussain, Adam Lowe and Sam Nuttall are in the Leek Post and Times talking about their Sofa Design project. I'll link that when it goes online. Here it is (click to enlarge):
